About the Award

The Oil Innovates Award is a national initiative launched by the Ministry of Oil, organized in cooperation with the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity, one of the centers of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences.

Building on the success of its four previous editions, the award continues to embed a culture of innovation, empower national talent, and attract inventors, innovators and entrepreneurs to deliver innovative solutions that serve the oil & gas sector.

The 5th edition focuses on two main fields: Energy and Artificial Intelligence in service of the oil & gas sector.

It aims to attract ideas and projects that tackle the sector's real challenges and use modern technologies to deliver solutions that can be applied and developed, raising operational efficiency and supporting innovation across the sector.

“Every innovation starts with an ambitious idea. This is where ideas become opportunities that shape the future.”
